What FlatForMe is

FlatForMe is an online platform where owners and users list rental, sale, PG and commercial properties and flatmate requirements. We are an intermediary: we do not own, inspect or manage listed properties, we are not a broker or agent, and we are not a party to any deal between users.

Fees and brokers

FlatForMe does not charge brokerage or a subscription fee to use the platform. Some listers on FlatForMe are agents or brokers (marked "By Agent"). They are independent of FlatForMe and may charge their own brokerage or fees. Any such fee is agreed directly between you and them; FlatForMe does not collect it and is not responsible for it. Please ask about any fee before you pay.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
• Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

Posting listings

• Only post properties you own or are authorised to advertise, with truthful details, price and photos.
• Listings are reviewed before going live and may be edited, rejected or taken down at our discretion. Significant edits may need re-approval.
• Do not post duplicate, misleading, discriminatory or illegal content, or use others' photos without permission.
• Remove or update listings once the property is no longer available.

Contact requests

Seekers send a contact request; contact details are shared only if the owner accepts. You agree to use shared details only for the enquiry at hand and not for spam, harassment, marketing or resale of data.

Acceptable use

• No scraping, automated bulk access, or attempts to bypass privacy or security controls.
• No fraud, impersonation, advance-fee scams or harassment.
• No uploading malware or content that infringes anyone's rights.

Dealings between users

Verify the property, ownership documents and the person before paying any money. Never pay a deposit or rent before seeing the property. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or the conduct of users, and are not responsible for transactions between them.

Reporting and moderation

You can report listings or users. We may review reports, remove content and restrict accounts, and may retain records to enforce these terms and comply with law.

Content licence

You keep ownership of what you post, and give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute it on the service for as long as it is live.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from dealings between users. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the location of our registered office have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
